29 June 2019 Landgoed De Olmenhorst, Lisserbroek 80 guests
A midnight summer feeling; that was Myrthe’s biggest wish for her wedding. Well, that was one thing we got covered on that day since it was one of the hottest days of the year. For their wedding we chose the Olmenhorst; a beautiful apple & pear orchard 30 minutes from Amsterdam. The venue has a cozy feeling and because of the orchards you can imagine yourself being in France as well; exactly what they were looking for.
Myrthe & Carl Johan started their day at the Vesper Hotel in Noordwijk. They both got ready with their closest friends, family and their kids and saw each other for the first time at the beach in Noordwijk. After their first look they went to the Olmenhorst where they made an entrance driving with their little car, called “de witter brommer”. A fun statement and the tone of the day was set; this wasn’t about taking things too seriously; they were getting married, but wanted to keep it close to themselves and keep things low key.
After they parked their car, they walked together with their guests to place of the ceremony. Since it was so warm, we gave everybody a hand fan; a nice touch for styling but practical as well. The ceremony was beautiful and surprising since their friends came up with the idea to perform an act like played in the movie “Love Actually”. Out of the blue people would stand up, play an instrument or sing.
When they were officially married it was time to celebrate all together. The sun, music, beer, wine, good food and some beautiful speeches made the day just as they imagined.
